Guide to Anti-Aging Skin Care

What is an RN Guide to Skin Care? As a woman over 40, I am interested in the latest and best products and ingredients that will help me to look my best now and for years to come. As a life long acne sufferer, I am interested in which products will prevent breakouts. (I know, wrinkles and acne – no fair!) As an RN with a Bachelor of Science degree, I am interested in and fascinated by the science behind the ingredients.

I learned in nursing school that our skin is our body's largest organ and it is the only organ that we can see. It serves a vital function, but we also want it to look, smell and feel great (and we want to keep it looking young, too!).

But when you set out to find the products that will accomplish those goals, the choices are overwhelming. Which products work? Which products are just hype? Is a $100 wrinkle cream better than a $20 one?

Obviously I have a bit of a skin care obsession if I have an entire web site about it! I do, but I am also passionate about sharing my experiences and knowledge with others. I would like you save you time and money by providing information that will help you make the best choices for your skin. Looking great and having clear, attractive skin helps you feel better about yourself – I think that is the best gift you can give yourself!
