ANSR Light Therapy

ANSR Light Therapy is a hand held device that provides light therapy to benefit the skin. There is a blue beam for anti-acne and a red beam for anti-aging treatments.

I have been fascinated with this device for a while. Light therapy is a leading edge therapy that is being used for everything from cancer treatments to teeth whitening. Different colors of light stimulate and effect the cells in different ways.

The ANSR Beam blue light kills acne causing bacteria and stimulates collagen. The red light works deeper to stimulate collagen and new cell growth. Both used together will reduce pore size, improve the overall health and quality, texture and tone of the skin and diminish fine lines and wrinkles.

The device uses an LED light that doesn't get warm and it offers a real alternative to more invasive therapies.

The people at ANSR were nice enough to send me a unit several months ago. I have been using it and am really impressed with it. First I have not had any acne breakouts while I have been using it. But the main reason I wanted to try it was for the anti-aging benefits. In the months I have been using it I have experienced smaller pores and an overall improvement in the texture of my skin. What has impressed me the most is that I have noticed a very significant reduction in the fine lines above my lips. That area was really starting to show signs of aging and it was bugging me!! I concentrated most of my ANSR Light Therapy use to that area and it did make a remarkable difference - the lines went from very noticeable to barely noticeable in about 2 or 3 months. I'm sold!

Like I said, I have been fascinated by this little device! I have done a lot of research on light therapy (bottom line - it works) and read tons of reviews on ANSR Light Therapy - overall very positive, especially for acne. I think the focus has been on acne and it isn't getting too much attention in the anti-aging market. Because of the anti-inflammatory benefits, I have used it on everything from mosquito bites to a swollen knee and I used it several times on my husband's lower back when he strained it. Now these aren't "approved" uses, but we have been very pleased with the results and the benefits we received.

On first thought, the purchase price of $148 seems a little stiff, but when you realize all of the skin care products you will be replacing for years to come, it really is a bargain. You pay it one time up front and then you don't have to keep purchasing ant-acne or anti-aging products over and over again - so it really results in a significant savings. I also found it at a discounted price at Amazon.

Do I recommend the ANSR Beam? Without hesitation, IF you will use it. You are suppose to use it for 10 minutes both in the AM and PM. The device automatically cycles 5 minutes of blue light and then 5 minutes red, you just gently move it over your skin. I have been fairly faithful about using it in the PM, not so great in the AM and I am very pleased with the results so far.
