Aqua Glycolic Cleanser

Aqua Glycolic Cleanser is a popular Glycolic Acid Product. It has been around for many years and is said to be recommended by many dermatologists.

It contains 7.7% Glycolic Acid and 4.3% ammonium glycolate for a total of 12% glycolic compound.

This is a thin, lotion like cleanser and it does not lather up or remove makeup (especially eye makeup) very well. It is best to use it in the morning, when you have no makeup to remove. If you have makeup on and want to use, remove your makeup first using another cleanser or makeup remover.

For maximum exfoliation, apply to your skin and wait one to five minutes and add water, massage and rinse. You may have to build up the minutes if it causes stinging. Some people will even use it like a mask and leave it on for 15 to 30 minutes.

The company also recommends using this Glycolic Acid Facial Cleanser as a shaving lotion to eliminate razor irritation and skin bumps.

This cleanser can be used by all skin types, except those with sensitive skin. If you have sensitive skin that is prone to redness and irritation, pass on this one. Those with combination to oily skin and/or prone to acne, breakouts, blackheads, clogged or congested pores will benefit the most from a glycolic cleanser. The benefit is that in addition to deep cleaning your pores and clearing up your skin, it can help with fine lines and wrinkles, hyperpigmentation or acne scars. It will also make your skin softer and smoother.
