Avon Anew Advanced Wrinkle Corrector is a longtime staple in the Avon Anew Clinical skin care line up. It is consistently among their top selling products and is a customer favorite.

Avon makes a lot of claims about this wrinkle cream, but its greatest benefit is that it contains a very low level of Glycolic Acid (4%), which over time provides a gentle exfoliation and improves the appearance of the skin. What I remember most about this product is the time I met an older lady who had the most beautiful skin texture I have ever seen - it was porcelain, poreless, creamy, perfect. When I asked her what she used, she said told me about this product and recommended it highly. Several years ago I used a jar of this and felt like I did not receive any noticeable benefit - but I have very thick skin (literally) and it takes a much stronger glycolic acid product for me. I did love the texture and it did not make me break out or irritate my eyes (as many products do).

All skin types should be able to use this product - those with drier skin should benefit from the exfoliation - but they may also need a more moisturizing cream on top. I think this is an ideal product for anyone in their late 20s or 30s, especially if they are acne prone or have oily skin. It should help and even prevent acne, it will exfoliate the skin and it will provide anti-aging benefits. It will provide moisture with aggravating acne. Because this is a lighter cream that also includes silicones, it would also be good to use under makeup - it would help it go on more smoothly. However it does not contain sunscreen, so if you are using it in the daytime, make sure you are also using a product to provide sun protection, otherwise it is best used as a night cream.
