Best Facial Cleanser

Finding the Best Facial Cleanser is not as easy as it sounds. Obviously they will all clean your face, but each person has different skin and cleanser expectations.

Best Facial Cleanser

The Best Face Cleanser for you should leave your face feeling clean and refreshed without irritation. Beyond that, it is all based on personal preference. You can decide what properties are important to you and choose accordingly.

Obviously, skin type is the most important consideration if you have skin that is either dry, oily or sensitive. After that the choices begin - Do you want a foaming cleanser or a non-foaming one? One that exfoliates as well? one with anti-acne properties? Do you prefer a cream cleanser that you wipe off? Are you sensitive to the smells of cleansers? Do you plan to use it with a toner or without? Well, you get the picture...

A couple of thoughts on cleansers. First, don't put a lot of stock into any cleanser that claims anything other than they clean your face without irritation. (The possible exception being Glycolic Acid cleansers, which I'll discuss below.) You put it on, you rub it around and you wash it off. Even if the cleanser is loaded with "state of the art" anti-skin care ingredients, the chances that they will actually absorb into your skin are pretty small. So forget about any anti-aging claims. Second, because you put it on, then you wash it off, cleanser is one place where you can go for the cheap, if you are looking to save money on your skin care regimen. Some of the ingredients & products can get a little pricey, but cleanser doesn't have to one of them. However, if you love a cleanser that isn't cheap and you don't mind spending the money on it, don't worry about that either. Finding a cleanser you love and works well with your unique skin is a beautiful thing!

I am really picky about cleansers and in my quest to find the Best Facial Cleanser I like to try out as many as I can, so I will give you my feedback on many of them - but ultimately it is up to you to find the one you love. Hopefully I can assist you in your selection.
