The active ingredient in Strivectin is called Matrixyl, which is a peptide. It is formulated to increase the skin's firmness and brightness. I have had very good results with the RuLinea FX, with a visible improvement in firmness and brightness (including skin clarity). I especially like the Eye Cream, because it does not contain the peppermint oil and produced a noticeable firming within a few weeks. RuLinea also contains Retinol, Strivectin does not. I am very prone to breakouts and it does not cause me to breakout.
