Retinol Capsules

Retinol Capsules are a wonderful way to add retinol to your existing skin care without adding another product.

You simply open a capsule each day, add it to an existing product - either a serum or cream - and apply it with the other product. An added bonus is that you know the retinol inside is fresh and potent.

Two different well known brands sell retinol in capsules.
Signature Club A has their 12 hour release capsules. The ingredients are: Dimethicone, Cyclopentasiloxane, Cetearyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Methyl Methacrylate/Glycol Dimethacrylate Crosspolymer, Retinol, Silica Dimethyl Silylate, Butylene Glycol, Caprylyl Glycol, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Hyaluronate, Hexylene Glycol, Myristoyl Pentapeptide-8, Myristoyl Tetrapeptide-8.

Philosophy's capsules are called Booster Shots. The ingredients are: cyclomethicone, dimethicone crosspolymer, trimethylsiloxysilicate, c12-15 alkyl benzoate, maltodextrin, retinol, chlorella vulgaris extract, methyl methacrylate/glycol dimethacrylate crosspolymer, fragrance (parfum), bht.

These products are a little costly. I recommend either picking them up in a kit (usually a much better value) or checking for them on eBay.
