Seriesse Glycolic Cleanser

Seriesse Glycolic Cleanser

I'm sure you are aware that Seriesse has closed down. I used this cleanser and the Serious Skin Care Cleanser off & on for many years, but I have found a Glycolic Acid cleanser that I like much better and it is also has no parabens, no sulfates, no mineral oil, no additives and no fillers. For more info & Reviews - Exfoliating Glycolic Acid Cleanser

Seriesse Glycolic Cleanser (the official name is Glycolic Essentials Deep Pore Cleanser) is a wonderful Glycolic Cleanser. It is 10% Glycolic Acid and has a pH of 5.0, which means it is effective as a gentle exfoliator. The most important thing to know about this cleanser is that when you add water, it changes the pH and the Glycolic Acid is not as effective. To use it properly it needs to be applied to dry skin with dry hands. You can allow it to sit on the skin for extra exfoliation. What I do is apply the cleanser and let it remain on my face while I brush my teeth. Then I wet my hands and finish washing my face. You can also apply it to your dry face before you get in the shower.

I love this cleanser, it is gentle but effective and I do feel that it helps to keep my pores clean and clear. While it is one of the best cleansers for adult acne or anyone with clogged or congested pores, it is beneficial for any skin type. Even those with dry or sensitive skin can benefit from its extra deep cleaning and mild exfoliation - just adjust your frequency of usage to your skin's response.

The Glycolic Acid in the cleanser loosens the glue type substance that holds the top layer of dead skin cells together and clogs pores and allows them to be gently removed.
