Wei East Skin Care Products

Wei East Skin Care ProductsWei East (pronounced way east) is a popular line of Skin Care Products sold on HSN that is based on traditional Chinese beauty treatments, herbs and botanicals.

The focus of the line is primarily anti-aging, the majority of products are to provide firming to the face and/or to diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

In addition to skin care for the face, the brand also has bath & body products, fragrance & some cosmetics.

There are four basic product lines - they are:
China Herbal - For all skin types
Chestnut - Designed for firming the skin
White Lotus - To provide hydration for dryer skin
Silk - For sensitive skin.

This is a good line for individuals with normal to dry skin looking for basic anti-aging skin care.  Although there are several different scrubs for different skin types (including a good White Lotus scrub for dry skin), there are no products for chemical exfoliation (AHA/BHA).  I would not recommend this line for anyone with thick or oily skin or those who are prone to clogged or congested pores (such as myself).   However, I do occasionally use and love the Creamy Chinese Herbal cleanser to remove makeup and the Chinese Herbal Hand & Body lotion - although I think the main reason I love them is that I love the way they smell.

The individual products can be expensive, it is much more economical to buy the products in a kit, where the price per item is much less, or if you want to try just an individual item, look on ebay - where sellers buy the kits and sell the items individually at less than the retail price.
